I kind of feel like I'm coming out the other side of it lately, so I've been wanting to cook and experiment more and more.
I've had a few failed experiments, naturally (the 'banana ice cream' disaster...no pictures sadly...and the spur of the moment choc chip cookies-tasted fine but kind of all merged into one...also no pictures as they looked like an abomination)
These, however, are the fabulous cupcakes I made for my birthday gathering. I say gathering, it was only meant to be four people at my house. Then I badly misjudged the recipes and ended up with over 40 cupcakes, and made people come over to help them go away!
The red icing ones are a repeat of the JD, coffee and dark chocolate ones I made for Peters birthday, which disappeared so quickly I thought I couldn't go far wrong. The yellow iced ones are banana cupcakes, with lemon and vanilla icing as a friend wasn't keen on coffee and didn't want her to be left out! Yummy :)
